SONY SVO-9500MD DIP SWITCH SETTINGS
The SVO-9500MD S-VHS recorder is specifically designed for medical applications. Its digital frame memory provide a noiseless, crystal clear "freeze" and is fully compatible with other S-VHS (of VHS) tape recordings. Its compact design and external control via RS-232C or 34-pin interface provide convenient integration with ultrasound, endoscopy and pathology systems.

 

  
Default Dip Switch Settings of an SVO-9500MD

 

  1. Video/Audio Mute Clear Switch

ON: The video and audio output mute during search is cleared. The image displayed on the screen, and the audio signal is made available
*OFF: Mutes the video and audio outputs during search.

  1. FF/REW Clear Switch

ON: Continuously searches without switching to the FF/REW mode.
*OFF: Searches at high speed using fast-forward (FWD) or rewind (RWD) mode.

  1. CTL Reset Mode Switch

ON:  The CTL counter is reset when the cassette is ejected.
*OFF: The CTL counter is not reset when the cassette is ejected.

  1. Remote/Local Switch

*ON (local):  The VTR is controlled with the tape transport buttons on the VTR.  It cannot be controlled with the external equipment connected to the RS-232C connector. 
OFF (remote): The VTR is controlled with the external equipment connected to the RS-232C connector.  The tape transport buttons on the VTR are deactivated.  However, only the EJECT button can be activated with the build-in switch SWI.  When the connected equipment sends KEY INHIBIT OFF command to the VTR, the tape transport buttons will be activated.
